A gasification plant is not a single machine. It is a feedstock handling system, a thermal conversion island, a gas cleaning train, a utility backbone and whatever downstream equipment makes the product you intend to sell. Klean Industries supplies that equipment and takes responsibility for making the pieces work as one plant.

Scope of Supply

• Design: process selection, mass and energy balances, product slate definition.
• Engineering: detailed mechanical, electrical and control engineering against the chosen specification.
• Procurement: equipment packages bought to that specification rather than to the lowest quote.
• Construction: site delivery and installation as general contractor.
• Commissioning: handover against performance figures, not against a punch list.

Build-Own-Operate

Klean licenses scalable technologies on a build-own-operate basis. For a developer or a municipality this changes the conversation: instead of buying equipment and inheriting the performance risk, the owner can structure the project so the technology provider carries it. Scalability matters here too, because a plant that works at 1 MW and a plant that works at ten times that size are different machines unless the technology was designed to scale in the first place.

What Delivered Plants Look Like

A German eco-industrial-park project integrated waste-tire gasification with plastic liquefaction, which is a multi-train site rather than a single reactor. A Norwegian project installed an integrated steam superheater fuelled by pyrolysis gas, a retrofit into an existing process where the constraint was the host plant, not the technology. In Japan, a 1 MW biomass gasification plant with Chubu Electric, Seiko Epson and Toyama produces renewable electricity and biochar. Different scales, different feedstocks, same engineering discipline.

Before Steel Is Cut

Most serious projects begin with a feasibility study that settles feedstock characterisation, plant size, product slate and the capital and operating model. That document is what a lender, a municipal council or an investment committee actually reads. Getting it right early is far cheaper than discovering a feedstock assumption was wrong during commissioning.
